Benny Meets Artie: A Tribute to Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw


Acclaimed bandleader and clarinetist Ross Wooldridge leads his all-star Galaxy Orchestra in a dynamic Big Band review guaranteed to make feet stomp and hands clap. This new two-hour stage show features outstanding professional musicianship in a showcase of “barn-burners” made famous by Big Band clarinet legends Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw. This up-tempo show features the musical talents of “Canada’s King of the clarinet” Ross Wooldridge along with the 15-member Galaxy Orchestra with “Canada's Sweetheart of Swing” Alex Pangman on vocals. With dazzling skills on the clarinet and years of experience leading the Galaxy Orchestra, Wooldridge, who is acclaimed by radio hosts across the country as Canada's finest jazz clarinetist, is without a doubt the ultimate musician to present this exciting show.

Lisa Brokop: The Patsy Cline Project showcases Lisa’s amazing voice in a distinct and exciting way. Lisa will transport the audience back to the hey-day of country music with her presentation of Patsy Cline classics. Accompanied by multi-media imagery, Lisa takes the audience on an incredible musical journey featuring some of Patsy Cline’s most memorable songs including “Walkin’ After Midnight”, “I Fall to Pieces”, “She’s Got You”, “Sweet Dreams” and “Crazy”.
